Holloway Group is proud to stand alongside iQRenew in launching Australia’s first large-scale soft plastics recycling facility — the SPEC plant in Taree, New South Wales.
This milestone closes a critical gap in Australia’s recycling system by giving household soft plastics – from food wrappers to shopping bags – a genuine second life. With the capacity to process more than 14,000 tonnes annually, scaling to 24,000 tonnes, SPEC delivers the infrastructure our country has been waiting for.
Through our Rawspec brand, Holloway Group is helping turn iQRenew’s certified recycled materials into durable, practical products. From storage and handling solutions for retailers to infrastructure systems for councils and construction, Rawspec demonstrates how soft plastic waste can be transformed into high-quality products made right here in Australia.
We are proud to play our part in supporting local innovation and circular manufacturing. By collaborating with iQRenew, we’re helping ensure that Australians can see their soft plastics recycled responsibly — and that the results are tangible: new products, stronger supply chains, and lasting benefits for communities and the environment.
